This is just a post I'll be editing as needed to collect the links to a variety of vendors, locations, and other things to consider as we try to plan this shindig.

(the two above are potentially good Memorial Day weekend Sunday wedding locations - Biden for its affordable sleeping facilities and beach area location, Grass Dale for its more northern location so less traffic and less expensive lodging)

Sunny Brae Mansion in milford web site is www.sunnybraemansion.com
Knottsberry Farm in Delmar
Indian River Lifesaving Station (beach wedding but not enough space for indoor ceremony/reception) http://www.destateparks.com/know/event/irlssfacility.htm

Pardon me while I catch up on this blog...

Re: Von's suit/tux and the grands' dresses... A "best kept secret" on the Eastern Shore is the Salvation Army store in Cambridge's "back room"--full of formal dresses, tuxes, uniforms, and other unusual and expensive used clothing. You might take a visit there and see what they've got in the way of formal clothing. Also, if you want to make the haul into the big city, there's a great children's clothing store, The Purple Goose, that sells used childrens' clothes--especially the nicer formals--in my old neighborhood. You might be able to score a really great dress for the grandflowerchild.
